Wellingtonians of the Year
Wow! How about this? Last night in Wellington (that would be in New Zealand for our ‘not quite smarter than a 5th grader’ readers(JK)..) the Flight of the Conchords were named 2007 Wellingtonians of the Year! Isn’t that ironic, wasn’t 2007 the year they spent the least amount of time in NZ? Oh well, no need to look a gift sheep in the mouth. Congratulations to the boys and to the Welly Awards for recognizing the genius of these two! Go check out the video at The Dominion Post on Stuff.co.nz. Woo-Hoo!
Update: I watched the video after I posted this and I have to say.. Sexy Beards!!!

Simply fantastic and well-deserved! I haven’t been as charmed and entertained by HBO since Greg the Bunny’s Annie Hall, except that was on IFC.
