That’s a silly headline, isn’t it? :) I’ve been meaning to post this but haven’t the time until now. The Jemaine Clement Fan Base has a great interview with the wonderful Dedra aka Deirdre aka D. What? You’ve never heard of her? Are you mental? Been stuck Lost, but Happy, at Sea?? That’s nuts. Deirdre is the fabulous fan who completely freaked out Jemaine with a photo of his lips in her purse, which was captured forever on film in the guys’ SXSW :: A Texan Odyssey documentary.

Deirdre is one of the most awesome people I have ever met and I am so honored to call her a friend. Take a look at how this one brave woman made Jemaine’s lips legendary.. or, at the very least, she was the first one to say it to the world. Love Ya D!!!

    Aww, you posted it. :0) Glad you enjoyed it.

    I’m happy I got to meet her and had a great time working with her on the interview.

    I second the sentiment…she’s truly awesome.

    I remember the first time I saw the video. I thought, “How embarrassing!”
    However, I think it was a genuine funny moment (their reaction was priceless) and so it seems to me that it was in recognition of that truly funny moment and with great affection for your devotion that it was included in the pilot episode. Thanks, Deirdre.

    You should track down the girl who did the Robot dance for a seat at a show in LA. I bet she’s got a fun story.

    D……..i want a stinking badge! also why dont us australians know about fotc’s?? i found you myself on u.tube and now im obsessed with jemaine….mmmmmjemaine…..i’d like to get you up on my lsd screen, thats pretty far out man! you could be a part time model. seriously jemaine, you have relatively intimate features. mmmm!!! well…, if thats what youre into.
