Hi everyone! Sorry there haven’t been many updates but not alot is happening in F o the C world recently..here is some new stuff, however.
First off, someone with the name of Bret McKenzie wrote in to say that he thought.. the site was great and thanks for all the hard work I’ve put in.. I don’t know if it was indeed the “real” Bret McKenzie but I’ll take the compliment from whomever gives it!!
Thanks “Bret” !!
Number 2, I realized after posting a response to Mermaid’s comment that not many people may read the comments section so I should probably post the news here. Ok, so there was some concern that the Eagle vs Shark DVD would only be released on Blu-Ray (as it says on amazon.com.) A call to Buena Vista Home Entertainment which is a/the distributor of Miramax films revealed that yes the release date is January 8, 2008 and no, it is not a Blu-Ray release. In fact, they don’t have it listed as a HD release at all. So, what’s up with Amazon? I haven’t a clue. I’m sure more news will become available as the release date gets closer and if anyone hears anything more or different please email me and let me know!
And C, Kima sends a link to a short review of the FotC DVD(?) from the London Telegraph. Thank you Kima!!!!

Thanks for the DVD info Nicole! Whew, I really am looking forward to the Conchords and Eagle DVDs. The old Conchords HBO Special is playing on the East Coast in the U.S. at 10:30 PM on Comedy Central. (Nov. 2.)
Whew! What a relief! Thanks for the update.
You’re welcome.
EVS is available for pre-order on other sites as well but they don’t specify whether it’s a blu-ray disc or not…either it’s the regular dvd or the site doesn’t know yet what format they’re offering.
Thanks Nicole and beautifullion69,
I successfully pre-ordered a standard Eagle DVD today from Amazon (U.S.) The Blu-Ray must have been a fluke. It’s gone.
