Yeah, I know…duh. But he calls them Awesome! The Fort-Worth Star Telegram asks Neil Finn 5 questions..some about the beautiful Paul Hester..R.I.P.

5. So, what do you think of [New Zealand mock-rock duo with their own HBO series] The Flight of the Conchords?

I’ve known about them for some time. We toured New Zealand with them. I’m a big fan. They’re awesome. I’m delighted to see them making a connection with Americans.

    I went to Liam Finn’s NYC solo debut in New York recently and gave Neil & Sharon Finn the new FOTC EP and the HBO packaged DVD of the first episode! They said that they were just watching episodes of the show on YouTube the night before and that their favorite episode was “Drive By” but that they also liked “Girlfriends,” my personal favorite! Neil said “I like the racist one!” which makes total sense since it mocks both New Zealanders and Australians! I actually have Neil Finn to thank for my discovery of the Conchords as I first heard of them when he was on their BBC Radio Show in the UK! Thanks so much, Neil!

    Good on ya, Jennifer! Last night Vh1 Classics showed the Crowded House show outside in front of the Sydney Opera House. It was wonderful!!! It’s nice to see you here. :smile:
