Thoughts on Episode 10

I’ve been meaning to write this post since Sunday but I haven’t been able to get to it. Sorry bout that. Anywoo, question : Who did not like this episode? Seriously? The episode is titled New Fans and coincidentally the boys add two new fans to the fan list. You can read a recap over at Zap2it. What can I say about this episode? It was genius from start to finish and I agree with Ryan Mcgee, that Mel sloooowly removing her head from the bathroom should earn an Emmy nomination! That was classic. Just when I think I can’t love Kristen Schaal any more. I learn.. uh-huh I can.. I was actually a bit upset that the guys treated her so shabbily but Bret made it up in the end. Now, exactly what was Murray telling the fans on the internet? I would like to know. Dirty Boy. This is my favorite episode so far. Of course, it wasn’t till after I watched it that I saw it was Taika who directed it and friend of the C Duncan Sarkies who wrote it! Kudos to them both! Excellent Episode. [rating: 4.5/5]

• Jemaine getting upset because he was disqualified from the competition.
• Bret not being a fan of the band.
• Jemaine saying it was a terrible prize then being glad he didn’t win.
• Seeing Lisa V. as the singer from Mexico.
• The entire ladies of the world video!
• Daryl Hall.
• Mel being so energetic dancing to the song.
• Murray not knowing they were tuning.
• “Makes you look like a goat.”
• Beer making Bret go to the toilet.
• Murray yelling at the guys about going to the toilet.
• The boys being Whacked off.
• Borrowing Dave’s clothes.
• Casual Prince.
• “I think they made them on the computer.”
• Jemaine defensive about the webcam.
• Zed Zed top.
• The whole dinner scene at Mels!
• “Oh that’s nice, Kinda like bad weather”
• “Oh, you can’t read” - this especially cracked me up
• Mel discussing her husband
• Mel bringing the beers.
• Poor Doug in the basement.
• Mel breaking into the bathroom to talk to Bret.
• The creepy picture hanging in bathroom.
• Mel slowly closing the door to the bathroom.
• So, you guys wanna get whacked off? Bret: What? Jemaine: Yeah!
• Much too full for a whole one. Too much Pasta Salad. A 16th?
• Bret realizing he took it. “Oh Flub!”
• The whole acid trip. Doesn’t Mel look so sexy in that video?
• Love the Squirrel!
• Get out. I’m having Acid reflux.
• Jemaine and his red briefs getting excited for the threesome.
• Arguing over twosomes, threesomes.. pretty much the whole bathroom scene.
