Raise your hands, who has Netflix??? Well, seeing as I can’t see any of you, I’ll just hypothesize that there are a bunch of you. Saywhat? lets us know that Eagle Vs. Shark is already on the “Save List” at Netflix, meaning you can save it to your list and when it’s available you can rent it. Yes, it’s not out just yet on video but if enough of us “Save it” then it will let TPTB know that there are multitudes of people who want it therefore they will be sure to pay more attention to it. Or so the theory goes.. So if you are a Netflix subscriber, it doesn’t cost anything to save the movie to your list and in the end you get to see a great movie. So please go to Netflix to save Eagle Vs. Shark and you can also find Tongan Ninja and Lord of the Rings if you are interested in a Conchords film marathon. Jemaine is in TN, Bret is in LOTR 1 & 3 so right there you have a Conchords threesome! Get to it!!! Thank you Say!!:D

Gidday Nicole –
Thanks for the good news! I’ve been wanting to see EAGLE VS. SHARK for a long time now.
The timing of its release in the US was particularly poor…. it was showing in NYC for just about a week at only a few theaters, opening sometime in June and closing *before* the premiere of FotC on HBO. Had it premiered just 2 or 3 weeks later, it would’ve drawn myriads of Flightfans. (Should we blame it all on “Murray”?
)
At any rate, I do not subscribe to NetFlix, but to GreenCine — and have just sent GreenCine a request for them to stock EAGLE VS. SHARK. I’ve also spoken to a couple of the guys at my local Blockbuster (who happen to be Flightfans themselves) about stocking the film.
And I’d like to take this opportunity to urge both GreenCine subscribers and Blockbuster members to request EAGLE VS. SHARK as well. Never underestimate the power of a proactive fanbase!
Your Brooklyn buddy,
Jemainiac
Hi Jemainiac,
Good on ya for requesting the video! I was upset myself that the film only played for one week in ONE theatre. What was that all about?
I hope more people request it and it does HUGE on dvd. If it comes out in time for Christmas, chances are everyone I know will be getting a copy.
