Lots of love coming from Stuff.co.nz. First, Tom Cardy talks to the talented Loren Horsley about EVS. Then Graeme Tuckett gives the movie four stars (out of how many it doesn’t say) in this very positive review and states

There’s something about Eagle vs Shark that is very specifically Wellington. Maybe it’s the self- consciousness, the humility, or even the sense that there are more and greater things to come. Whatever, Eagle vs Shark is terrific: A disarmingly flawed and unexpectedly bittersweet little 50 cent mixture of a film. Go see it.
