In the world of comedy television, there are few supporting characters as funny as Rhys Darby’s Murray. I would actually put him on the top of my list. Bricks explode blog puts him at number #2 of the Top 10 Supporting Characters on Television. They say:
Is Murray a great character because he’s funny or is it because I love his accent? The latter would explain why I’ve seen the movie Two Weeks Notice twelve times. Nevertheless Murray is a product of the new form of comedy that relies on pacing, calculated nerdieness, awkwardness, and dead pan humor. I call it The Michael Cera effect, and good gravy I hope it sweeps the nation. Good Gravy? I’ve either channeled a sixty-five year old Midwesterner or Charles Schulz.
Go read the list and enjoy a Murray related clip.
