These are working titles for some of the episodes coming up this season. I don’t want to ruin the plots (not that i know them because I don’t) but here are what I have found so far. I’m sure these could and will change at any time so please don’t freak if none of these pan out. The powers that be have changed around the order but I’ll try and keep this up to date. Update: Here is the complete episode list of what aired in the US 2007 Summer Season. If you find any mistakes, please let me know.
“Flight of the Conchords” Episode List
- #101 Pilot (Sally) - Guitar-playing troubadours from New Zealand try to kickstart their careers in New York City. First up: Jemaine meets a woman at a party who happens to be Bret’s old girlfriend. Guest Star : Rachael Blanchard. Directed by : James Bobin. Written by : James Bobin, Jemaine Clement.
- #102 Bret Gives up the Dream - A lack of gigs forces Bret to get a job, leaving Murray to consider finding another partner for Jemaine. Directed by : James Bobin. Written by : James Bobin & Jemaine Clement & Bret McKenzie.
- #103 Mugged - Bret and Jemaine get mugged, despite Murray’s advice about safety on the streets, causing a rift in the band. Directed by : James Bobin. Written by : James Bobin & Jemaine Clement & Bret McKenzie.
- #104 Yoko - added (4/17/07) Murray is perturbed when Bret cancels a band tour of building rotundas to be with his girlfriend Coco. Things get worse when Jemaine follows suit, choosing to be an active participant (or third wheel, depending on your POV) on Bret and Coco’s dates. All goes well for awhile–Jemaine even offers constructive revisions to Bret’s two-hour love song to Coco–but eventually Bret asks his mate to leave him alone, at least during his dates. Jemaine’s subsequent dismay, coupled with the betrayal felt by the band’s lone fan, Mel (who has a crush on Bret), threatens the band’s future. When Coco sits in on a band meeting (bringing sandwiches and a cool Conchords poster), Jemaine accuses her of being Yoko-esque, prompting Bret’s angry departure. Ultimately, recognizing his partner is indispensable, Jemaine tracks down Bret to ask him back in the band–under one condition. Directed by : Troy Miller. Written by : James Bobin & Jemaine Clement & Bret McKenzie.
- #105 Sally Returns - With Bret preoccupied with Coco, a lonely Jemaine visits the Laundromat–and runs into Sally, the “most beautiful girl in the room” who dumped him (and Bret) earlier this year. Envisioning a new life with Sally–including making “Business Time” with her every Wednesday night–Jemaine’s dreams take a detour when he learns she won’t spend time with him until he gets his own place. After attending a band meeting in which Murray reveals he’s used their retirement fund to invest in “real estate,” Jemaine moves into a “studio compartment” in a fancy doorman building, and plans a space-warming party. Unfortunately, the date of his bash conflicts with Sally’s birthday, and Bret, who reveals he’s still in love with Sally, forsakes Jemaine’s party in favor of Sally’s, where he trumps Jemaine with a special hand-crafted gift. As Jemaine cuts short his festivities to head over to Sally’s party, both suitors are in for the shock of their lives (well, maybe just a shock) Directed by : James Bobin. Written by : James Bobin & Jemaine Clement & Bret McKenzie.
- #106 Bowie - Bret gets help with body issues from Jemaine, Mel and David Bowie (in a dream). Directed by : Troy Miller. Written by : James Bobin & Jemaine Clement & Bret McKenzie.
- #107 Drive By - Bret and Jemaine arm themselves for a race war with a fruit vender; Murray falls for a tech-support woman at the office. Directed by : Taika Waititi. Written by : Taika Waititi.
- #108 Girlfriends - Bret and Jemaine pick up two women at a croissant shop–but end up with very different dating experiences. Meanwhile, Murray makes an album deal for the band. Directed by : James Bobin. Written by : Eric Kaplan.
- #109 What goes on tour- Using the band’s “emergency fund,” Murray organizes a warm-up tour in preparation for a big gig in Central Park. At an airport bar, the boys get hooked by some “mermaids” from a women’s water-polo team–nearly ruining the tour and their relationship with Murray. Guest Stars : Kate Pierson. Directed by: Paul Simms. Written by : Paul Simms.
- #110 New Fans- Murray urges the guys to make their image more “rock ‘n roll,” and they pick up some new fans — much to Mel’s dismay. Guest Stars : Daryl Hall, Lisa V. Directed by: Taika Waititi. Written by: Duncan Sarkies.
- #111 The Actor- In an attempt to cheer up Murray, Bret and Jemaine enlist a semi-professional actor to pretend he’s a record label guy. But the plan gets a bit out of hand. Guest Star : Will Forte. Directed by : Michael Patrick Jann. Written by: Damon Beesley & Iain Morris.
- #112 The Third Conchord- When Murray springs a new band member - a bongo player named Todd - on the guys, it causes much disharmony. Guest Stars - Todd Barry and Demetri Martin Directed by : James Bobin. Written by : James Bobin & Jemaine Clement & Bret McKenzie.

fwiw, I have posted slightly different episode listings than you have here. HBO show listings have episode titles in a different order. Mugged is 3 and Bret Gives Up The Dream is 2 iirc. I have Yoko as 4 and Sally Returns as 5. Who knows though
Site looks different
Lots of new things to check out.
Do you have an email addy somewhere on the site though? I could not find one when looking around. I’d rather have emailed you than signed up and posted a comment. Blogs are not really my thing.
Sorry about that Sherlock, I’m trying to get a comment form up soon.
Thank you for writing in and I’ll try to get my comment form up soon!
My episode list is from a while ago so it is possible that the order has been rearranged.
Do you have a name for episode 111? I haven’t found that yet. I really haven’t time to
look.
